Rolling stock
[edit]I'm going to revert a long edit (1265184805) about the Porto Trams' rolling stock and will explain why here.
It is quite a long edit, replacing 3 paragraphs with 18 paragraphs, and doubling the length of the entire article. For an article that I believe to be principally for touristical information about a local transport system, it is best to be short and pithy. If there are other goals for the article, then perhaps the information could be reworked by, say, retaining it in a section that is by default unexpanded to shorten the apparent text for a casual reader or relegated to notes that would not lengthen the main article text.
Secondly, the original text cited specific details mentioned about specific cars of rolling stock (perhaps not correctly -- I respect the author's scholarship on tram system details -- but they were cited). The replacement text is not cited at all; a general reference to King & Isgar (2022) is supplied. This makes it unclear where the detail is coming from: original research or the King & Isgar source. More detailed citation would help distinguish these.
Again, I respect the author's scholarship on tram system details -- having learned a lot from the author's personal web site myself -- and I hope that these comments can lead to a better article overall that will help all Wikipedia readers.
