What is the full length of the route?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.232.64.159 (talkcontribs) 10:31, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is 17.8 km. Thanks for noticing the omission.--MrFishGo Fish 02:34, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tokyo Monorail is a company, right?

[edit]

In ja:東京モノレール羽田線(Tokyo Monorail Haneda Line]], "Tokyo Monorail line" in this article is treated as one of ja:東京モノレール(Tokyo Monorail) lines. (it's the fact). Should this article be changed to Tokyo Monorail Haneda Line?--Izumi5 02:40, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox typo: "Inaugration"

[edit]

I can't figure out how to edit the infobox template - or whether I am even allowed to - but could someone please correct the spelling of "Inaugration"? DAJF 00:59, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its at Template:Infobox Monorail, and I've fixed it. To find all the templates used, just edit the whole article and all the templates used are listed down the bottom. Alex Sims 12:41, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I can now see how it works. DAJF 15:40, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ridership

[edit]

I recently edited the page to change the ridership figure from 300,000 down to 120,692. The 300,000 is cited on the web a lot and it appears to be the CAPACITY of the system. If you let google translate this page (http://www.tokyo-monorail.co.jp/company/profile.html) you will see the correct figure. I will add this as well to try to clarify the issue. I will also adjust the main Monorail page. It is still he busiest monorail LINE in the world; Walt Disney World Monorail is the busiest SYSTEM with ~150,000 passengers per day.

The ridership figures comes from http://www.tokyo-monorail.co.jp/company/profile.html. On the page is a list of the 2011 "Per day by getting on and off station personnel" by station; if you sum all the figures given then divide by two (i.e. every passenger both enters and exits a station) the daily ridership for that year is 120,692.
