The Redirect

[edit]

I have restored this article which previosuly was a redirect. There's no reason why Tim shouldn't have his own bio. It just has to be improved a bit, not completely blanked. If you feel a redirect to Ok Go's main article would be better please discuss here. Rosa 04:31, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have restored... again....for an article to be deleted and turned into a mere redirect it has to go through a deletion process first. Please read wikipedia:notability and wikipedia:deletion policy before reverting this article into a redirect.
Simply not the case. See WP:BOLD. Valrith 20:36, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Whether you're being bold or recklessly blanking a page is quite debatable... Rosa 21:32, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't get why you would think that Tim Nordwind isn't a notable character anyways...he's one of the members of a successful music band. The other members all have their bios, why not him? Rosa 22:18, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No notability outside the band, no coverage outside the band, etc. Valrith 20:36, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I understand your argument even if I don't agree with it (I personally think Tim is quite a character and he even has his own fan club). The important issue is that there are scores of musicians who have their own article here at Wikipedia even if most of them aren't known a lot outside of their respective band. You could take a look at Category:Rock bass guitarists, I myself only recognized a couple of those in that list. Rosa 21:25, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm attempting to expand this article, as its been saved a few times and thus probably is worth having on the 'Pedia, however not for only one paragraph of information. Melaisis (talk) 18:53, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This page should be deleted immediately Tim is not notable of being on the wiki a redirect to ok go is much needed.
