Recent edit war

I have largely reverted the article to the version preferred by MJDecker, with some exceptions, for the following reasons:

• The production should be discussed primarily in the "production" section. If the lead is to cover the production, per WP:LEAD it should summarize that section; it should not supplant it.
• I have removed mentions of both the Colombian telenovela and of Rossana Negrín's previous work. Neither was supported by the given reference; neither seems particularly relevant to this article.
• I have slightly reworded the "cast" section to create entire sentences; that could probably be improved further, for example by turning Aarón Díaz as Arturo "Rey" Gallardo... into either Aarón Díaz played Arturo "Rey" Gallardo... or Arturo "Rey" Gallardo (Aarón Díaz) is....

I would appreciate it if both MJDecker and McVeigh would discuss any issues with the current version on the talk page instead of resuming the edit war once their blocks expire. Huon (talk) 23:37, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

I agree with all the edits, since I made them all myself to have them all reversed within minutes by McVeigh.

• The production information was never included in the introduction until I modified it. Then it was added to the Introduction so McVeigh could delete entirely the section I rewrote. Claiming my rewritten section was redundant.
• I removed the reference to the first Colombian novella since it wasn't relevant and wasn't in the cited reference. Which McVeigh immediately put back in. Then I rewrote it again to include the show as an act of appeasement, oddly McVeigh began deleting that claiming the first novella had no citation.
• I rewrote the cast list to be a translation of the show's official site which McVeigh immediately reversed claiming they gave too much information. Then placed citations on all the cast information to the official show pages I used for translation. Then when I again made the cast info a translation of the pages McVeigh cited, they were deleted again.
• The additional cast was removed entirely from the page by McVeigh and reformatted to remove character information after I attempted to update them.
• Then came personal attacks against me by McVeigh
• Then came deletion of any information I entered on the page by McVeigh even when citation was clearly given or not needed or from a source that McVeigh had entered.
• Then came the threats of getting me blocked, which resulted in McVeigh being blocked.
• Once the block was lifted McVeigh went back to deleting all my entered revisions and updates. With the same non-sense claims of lack of citation. Including clear acts of spitefulness like deleting the literal translation of the show which as a Spanish speaker they know is correct.

This was fun and amusing, but I'm done. I have no interest in dealing with this level of clear, pervasive, and relentless spiteful nonsense. The page contained almost no useful information before I started adding it, was almost unreadable to English speakers due to poor language skills, and I'm done trying repair the page so English speakers can receive useful information on a Spanish language show. What I find so amusing is that I'm a professional writer and editor who is fluent in Spanish and English and watch this show and I can't get any reasonable improvements made to the page without third party intervention. Then they are reverse again. The page will continue to be non-useful due to a single user with remedial English skills who believes this page should only have input from them. This experience has brought hours of laughter to me and my professional colleges, but I'm going to stick with getting paid to write.MJDecker (talk) 17:51, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

What I find it so strange in all of this is that you registered on 15 January and you know up to the wikipedia style manual, to know the functioning of wikipedia. That's strange for a new user...

Here I put my point of view:

1: You are trying to add in the introduction what is being "Literal translation" and you don't put or a reference confirming that, that it is unnecessary, is already as it is in English. Place force 2 translations and because Yes?.

2: It is one thing to accommodate the poor translation of the article and another is to translate the contents of a page in Spanish. Telemundo.com is protected by copyright. In addition, you were adding too much unnecessary detail. Then do something let us tell you a long description of each character.? And thus make this a libretto of telenovelas and you people will not want to see the novel. Do you think well?.

The information that is now in the "Production" section was already in the introduction of the article. And your you came and took away it to place it there, without giving any reason. Wanted to take control of the article no matter what you get if there are more editors interested in the article. For your coming to do major changes first should you consult in the discussion of the article, don't you think?. I have no problem that you help to improve the translation of the article, but there to come to make major changes, without consulting him, that is wrong. I've been editing wikipedia for 2 years and you are not going to come to show how I do things. And clear of course that they have pleased you. Total my opinion does not matter here.
