Consideration may be also given to using other forms, such as Thomas Gardner (colonel), per Nathan Hale (colonel) or Richard Parker (colonel), since Thomas Gardner (planter) may be also considered a "politician" in that he "is considered by some to have been the first Governor of Massachusetts, due to his being in authority in the first settlement that became the Massachusetts Bay Colony (into which was later subsumed the Plymouth Colony)". —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 07:42, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
