should he be on electric motor page?

[edit]

I updated some facts on this page and noticed that while he is considered by the cited articles to be the inventor of an early electric motor, he isn't found anywhere on the electric motor page itself. I lack the knowledge of motors to insert him appropriately, but I feel like it should be done if the claims are accurate. Jessamyn 14:39, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Should he be mentioned on that page? Yes. Should this page be deleted? No. CApitol3 21:54, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He was not the first inventor

[edit]

Electric motor was invented by Hungarian Ányos Jeldik in 1827.

Or not. See Electric motor. When did he first publish his "invention?" Where? Edison (talk) 02:39, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
