Limit criteria for the Summary table IOT make useful

[edit]

As it stands the Summary has 32 columns which spread across my big screen – and way beyond. The criteria for including the names is way too broad. E.g., "1,000 votes or were on a state ballot". This is in violation of WP:NOTTRIVIA because we are presenting meaningless data. The columns could be cut by 7 if the criteria were "1,000 votes and were on a state ballot". Better yet, the criteria could be "10,000 votes and on a state ballot". Comments? – S. Rich (talk) 02:31, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Taxpayer Party of Michigan

[edit]

Why is the Taxpayer Party of Michigan listed as a seperate party that also nominated Castle? My understanding is that this is simply the Michigan affiliate/chapter of the Constitution Party. SecretName101 (talk) 00:39, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No ballot access

[edit]

The section "No ballot access" currently includes at least one person (Robby Wells) who, as I understand, never had either ballot access OR write-in access in any state. How can you possibly be a "candidate" if nobody anywhere can actually vote for you? I can understand that people like Wells were kept in the article before the election, when there was still a theoretical possibility that they might obtain at least write-in access somewhere, but if they didn't, I think they should be removed. Otherwise, the article would have to include every semi-notable person who vaguely expressed an intention to run for president but never did anything about it.
