Initial Feedback

[edit]

Hi there!

Here's my feedback for your page. Love what you have been doing so far, and I will gladly help you moving forward:)

Kittengleeking's article discusses and important topic that occured in the mid 2010s. This type of content was prominent in our formative years and explains a clear danger to young girls navigating on social media. In some instances, mostly in the first two paragraphs, certain passages sounded too colloquial. For the purpose of the excercise, I have added them below, with my suggested alternative in parantheses.

Lead changes

these images are to give motivation to people (as to give motivation)

who want to be more (who want to be thinner)

Evolution Changes

These photos (Thinspiration images)

A popular one would be Tumblr, bring it to the end instead with (was especially popular during this time)

The last paragraph on Glamorization has a lot to uncover in regards to describing the things around the Tumblr 2014 aesthetic. Adding images, or key celebrities promoting this trend could be useful for visual aid purposes. I have hyper linked key words of the article such as; body types, TikTok, diet culture, etc. Finding songs or tv shows that reference thinness from this time could also be interesting to explore.
