The result of the move request was: page moved to Theory Eatery. wbm1058 (talk) 12:15, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
Theory (restaurant) → Theory Eatery – There is more than one restaurant named Theory. In Chicago, there is the Theory Bar. I propose renaming the page to Theory Eatery, the official name of the restaurant at OMSI. CookieMonster755 (talk) 23:20, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose because "Portland, Oregon" is useless as a disambiguator when disambiguating from the other entries at Theory (disambiguation) and because no other restaurants called Theory have articles at Wikipedia. — AjaxSmack 02:43, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
- The proposed title of Theory (Portland, Oregon) was changed subsequent to my comment above. However, I also have reservations (pun intended) about the new proposal as the restaurant's website uses only "Theory". — AjaxSmack 03:16, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose while there may be a bar in Chicago by that name it does not have an article meaning we don't need to take that into account at this time.--76.65.41.126 (talk) 03:51, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
- Move to Theory Eatery or Theory (Portland restaurant) helps diners in Portland, and this really is not that notable in the real world. In ictu oculi (talk) 06:22, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
- I don't think Portland restaurant will work since if there are no articles for other restaurants called Theory adding Portland is unnecessary.--76.65.41.126 (talk) 19:29, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
- You all have some really good points. I have changed my position, and propose renaming it to Theory Eatery, because it is the official name and to avoid the (restaurant) in the title, according to WP policy. What do you think In ictu oculi? CookieMonster755 (talk) 22:12, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support Theory Eatery per WP:NATURAL and to clear up confusion. The website seems to use both "Theory" and "Theory Eatery" interchangeably. Here is an example of official usage of Theory Eatery, and it's used in other places, such as here and here. -- Tavix (talk) 18:46, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support. It is definitely not Wikipedia's policy to avoid qualifiers in the name at all costs as Oculi suggested above (are you going to move Prince (musician) to Prince Rogers as well?), but this is a clear case where there is a natural disambiguation that's used interchangeably with the shorter name.
