The result of the proposal was Move. The SHINee World is the correct and official title of the album. (Moon) and (Sunrise) 06:25, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Both of the album covers in the article use the current tithttp://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Talk:The_Shinee_World&action=edit&oldid=282982228le. Actually the title should be "Shinee World" per WP:MOSTM. When this move request is done, I will make it requested. TJ Spyke 20:34, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here are sources that proves the name is The SHINee World. The official Korean charts, news article #1 and news article #2. (Moon) and (Sunrise) 21:12, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Support for reasons above. Mydoctor93 (talk) 11:50, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Moon-sunrise, If you insist that "Shinee" should remain as "Shinee", not SHINee, I wonder why you are stating that the article's name should be changed to "The SHINee World" and not "The Shinee World"? Mydoctor93 (talk) 11:50, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Use Korean

[edit]

I think the titles of all the songs should be written in Korean not in romanization. kata1207

No they shouldn't, per WP:MOSKOREA. ~Moon~~Sunrise~ 14:47, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The song Forever or Never...

[edit]

From the repackaged album is a cover of the original Cinema Bizarre song (sung in English). Even if you don't like CB, this should be noted somewhere. FlipsidePro09 (talk) 19:34, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It does not matter of any likes them. It is all about proving it. MS (Talk|Contributions) 22:41, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Right. I get that it needs to be proved, but the problem is there are no official sources. However, if you look up Forever or Never on youtube by both Cinema Bizarre and Shinee, you'll see they're the same song. I think that it's actually been written by someone else, who sold it to CB first, then later to Shinee. See the CB page for more info about the song. Final Attraction or Cinema Bizarre. Thanks for responding. FlipsidePro09 (talk) 19:14, 24 February 2010 (UTC) Here, if this helps, here's an extract from a webpage about the 2008 eurovision song contest, when cinema bizarre performed the song: "3. Cinema Bizarre - Forever or never (music and lyrics by Remee and Thomas Troelsen)" [source - http://www.esctoday.com/news/read/10777?id=10777&offset=189] You'll notice the writing credits are the same - Remee and Thomas Troelsen. Check out the wiki page on CB. Sorry for going on about it, I just thought it was worth mentioning. Also, if this helps, here's a remix featured on youtube that someone's done that puts both songs together - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trk5hZVCrYc. Finally, here's a page that lists all songs composed by Thomas Troelson. Scroll down a little, and where it says Forever or Never, it lists the artist who performed it as Cinema Bizarre, from the album Final Attraction. Page - http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:jbfexqw0ldte~T3 Thanks again. FlipsidePro09 (talk) 19:27, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I totally get where you're coming from, but Wikipedia's standards are that verifiability is more important than truth. What you say is most likely true. However, because it can't be verified, we can't put it in the article. And sorry to say this, but a lot of what you just wrote is essentially original research, which isn't allowed either. I hope that makes sense.... SKS (talk) 20:07, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

All right :) I understand. Last thing then, on the DBSK/TVXQ page for their single Mirotic, there is a mention of the version that was done by Sarah Connors, though rather than calling it a cover, it just says it was an alternative version. That information is unsourced as well. Should it be deleted? Thanks for responding, apologise for wasting your time. FlipsidePro09 (talk) 20:12, 24 February 2010 (UTC) Sorry, I just realised this should actually be on the DBSK page, not here. FlipsidePro09 (talk) 20:14, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Amigo (Shinee song)

[edit]

This article has about two sentences in it that aren't already included in the album's article. There isn't really any reason, then, for this article to exist. WP:SONGS says most songs shouldn't have their own articles, and WP:NSONG requires song articles to have a substantial amount of information in them about the song as a song (which this does not have), even if they are notable. Otherwise, it's recommended to merge them to their album articles. Let's do that. Shinyang-i (talk) 02:30, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge done. I didn't think it was necessary to include the list of performances, but it could always be added. Random86 (talk) 06:18, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
