William Jay

[edit]

The above was the architect of Savannah's Bulloch-Habersham House. I think there's some misleading information online about his being the architect of the Olde Pink House (due to its original name being Habersham House), but he was born three years after it was constructed. Also, he didn't arrive in Savannah until 1816 or 1817, so his sister won't have been living in the house between 1804 and 1812. colonists?

[edit]

The article says "In 1812, the home became Planters Bank, the first bank in Georgia, and housed the monies of all the colonists." In 1812, the people were no longer colonists. Change it to citizens? Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 06:30, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That part seemed extraneous anyway; plus, it was word-for-word from the reference. - Seasider53 (talk) 13:25, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
