isn't the verse part alternating between 4/4 and 7/8? thus, 15/16 seems incorrect. it might be better to say "The verses alternate between 4/4 and 7/8 time".

One "can" count all 15 8th notes and say it's "in 15/8", but the meter of the song does not suggest they wrote that entire stanza as one measure/bar. ₈ in the verse is correct. I have noted this in the Overview section of the article with an authoritative citation and page link to septuple meter. Didn't Tesla cover this song for Enconium, only to have it left off? If anyone can confirm this (I've never heard it) and cite it, that would be great.

John Bonham and John Paul Jones harmonizing?

I'm just wondering: is there any source that says specifically John Bonham and John Paul Jones are harmonizing the "doo-wop" vocals? Because to me, it sounds like a Robert Plant overdub. I've never heard John Paul Jones sing, but going by John Bonham's singing voice on the Led Zeppelin DVD, I think John Bonham sings in a lower range than that. Guitar drop-out

Is 3:21-3:23 just from sloppy playing or what? I'm surprised that wasn't picked up in the recording process and played again. Theres a couple other weak parts in there as well. People being too picky

Actually, Page was asked about this in an interview, and he conceded that hitting the 'c' was probably a mistake, adding you have to be reasonably honest about these things. I've tried to find the interview online (with little luck) but it was one of the only- if not the only- guitar interviews he did in the mid 70s and was reprinted about 6 years ago in Total Guitar UK. 2017 referencing problems & user:WikiEditCrunch

The article has sections of unreferenced text, including quotes. Some sentences read like commentary and appear to be WP:Original research. WikiEditCrunch has been removing {{refimprove}} without adding WP:Reliable sources that support the text and they have added some links to user-generated websites (all bare URLs). Specific edits include:

• 20 July 2017 – removed refimprove with no changes to article; edit summary: "Deleted unnecces template";[1] was reverted.
• 20 July 2017 – removed new refimprove & added two bare URL inline cites to "It was deleted from the set list thereafter" sentence (neither ref mentions this); edit summary: "Issue resolved:Added additional sources".[2]
• 16 August 2017 – added "Live performances" section without refs & improperly linked album.[3]
• 16 August 2017 – removed new refimprove & dmy templates; edit summary "Bot mistake";[4] was reverted.
• 17 August 2017 – removed new refimprove & added two bare URL inline cites to ""The Ocean" refers to the sea of fans seen from the stage at Led Zeppelin concerts, to whom this song was dedicated" (neither user-generated website ref mentions this); added bare URL inline cite to "In concert, Plant always updated the lyric to reflect her current age, as captured on the Led Zeppelin DVD which features a performance of the song at Madison Square Garden in 1973" (apparently OK); added bare URL inline cite to "It is also part of the bands live concert soundtrack album The Song Remains the Same (album)" (duplicated a link to a video that was already in "External links"); edit summary: "Added more sources;Enough refs".[5]

The user has been warned twice on their talk page with {{uw-tdel2}} & {{uw-tdel3}} (see User talk:WikiEditCrunch#7/17). Refimprove templates will continue to be re-added and problematic sources removed as necessary.

@Ojorojo: The song is not exactly that famous so you will not find a Rolling Stone or NME article about it.Your reverts seem kind of disruptive.

If this is so important to you why dont you contribute to this page by adding more references rather than complaining?

@Ojorojo: I have added a total of around 5 quite/highly reliable sources (Rolling Stone as well) to the article and have come to the conclusion that the article is now very well sourced.If you think it still lacks sources, well then please find additional ones if you find time otherwise let the matter rest.Thanks
