Cleanup Tag

[edit]

Can someone put a more specific tag? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.175.150.153 (talk) 20:24, 11 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I don't know what the other editor had in mind but this article needs to demostrate the notability for the novel and most of the trivia section is really to trivial to include. You need to be more ruthless in self editing. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 09:15, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We need to get this article past stub-class!

It doesn't really seem stub-class to me, but start-class. The trivia section needs clean-up though, and it nnnneeeeeeeeedddddsssss sources. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.20.179.82 (talk) 00:26, 13 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Agreed it is borderline - however put more material in that demostrated notability and gives references etc. and the class could be improved. Also please everyone sign your contributions Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 11:23, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I just took out some unnecessary stuff in the summary. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.20.179.82 (talk) 21:55, 13 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Why was the character section removed? I admit, it needed cleanup, bout if someone was willing to they could make it better 68.20.212.84 23:41, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just added a main character section. I didn't have much time to write it, so could someone please clean it (or remove it- if you must-)? Thank you. 68.20.212.84 23:57, 19 March 2007 (UTC) (But really codelyoko193 who forgot to sign in).[reply]

A spoiler tag would be helpful129.2.40.144 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 19:29, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It needs more editing.Rahina24 (talk) 09:44, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Improvements

[edit]

I have updated the guide with additional character information, basic details about the sequel and some moving stuff about. Some information was tossed about a bit too freely, stuff that readers really shouldn't know unless they've already read the book and probably wouldn't want to be spoiled about, so I've tried to separate things more clearly so that stuff that is a bit more spoilerific is more clearly delineated. Next goal -- to get some of those references in there. Agent0042 (talk) 02:48, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted some of the statements that gave away the end of the story to make sure the article did not ruin it for any body else —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.114.189.53 (talk) 22:47, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know, the story really depends on spoilerific stuff anyway, about finding out more and more about the Institute as you move along. What we definitely need to make sure of is that spoiling information is not given out of order. Compynerd255 (talk) 20:20, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I should also say that these character descriptions need a lot of work. The one for Milligan especially needs a lot of work, because it spends too much time focusing on his amnesia recovery. Compynerd255 (talk) 20:22, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone please tell me what witticism means? Also, maybe if you could organize the plot story into paragraphs, that might make it look neater. I'll try to do that myself right now, but you're going to have to do some cleanup probably. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.32.88.131 (talk) 20:33, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This Needs Cleanup

[edit]

No joke. I can barely get through the summary, it's so choppy. There's also some words in there that seem out-of-place, like they're too modern for the rest of the article. "...a stubborn little girl..." "...and his brains have resulted..." and other things like that. In the character section, almost every sentence starts with "he" or "she". There needs to be some fixing done here. Superk1a (talk) 19:29, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ick, I know. I did my best with it, but it still needs a lot of work (though at least now half of it makes sense). Anyone care to fix this up? CarniCat (meow) 21:29, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just wrote another summary. Please feel free to correct it for any inaccuracies and shorten it if needed. Compynerd255 (talk) 20:17, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

...Guys, we really need to shorten the plot summary... I put it into paragraphs and used Grammarly for grammar errors, but this seriously needs to be shortened... it's exhaustingly long to read through. 68.32.88.131 (talk) 21:24, 16 October 2018 (UTC)Anonymous[reply]

What kind of english is used

[edit]

When I read the book I realized it wasn't modern day english. What type of english is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.173.244.127 (talk) 21:52, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

C-class article?

[edit]

Is this article really deserving of a C-class article rating? This is on par with the articles on the other books in the series, which are all rated Start-class. Additionally, the article has multiple issues: the sentences are often not very well-constructed, the Awards section is one sentence, and there isn't even a "Critical reception" section, as is typical for books. Please reassess or improve this article. Joshualouie711 (talk) 17:09, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
