Unsourced album credits
[edit]Where were the credits taken from? if it is from Tidal, a reference should be added. JBOOK17 (talk) 13:33, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
“Everything Matters” official single or promo?
[edit]I’m starting to doubt that “Everything Matters” was released as an official single, especially because the artwork only has “A Dangerous Thing” as the title. Even though “Everything Matters” seems to be a B-side, this sources say that it’s still a single, so for me it meets the requirements to be a promotional single. I prefer not to edit it unless we reach an agreement. GiankM. M (talk) 16:24, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- I guess I will proceed. GiankM. M (talk) 03:42, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
A Potion for Love
[edit]isn't A Potion for love is single? Arismauve (talk) 05:05, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late response, but to my understanding, I agree with you mostly. "A Potion for Love" and the other singles are official singles from the era since they have their own release date, artwork, and were intended for the album. However, I don't think "Storm" (regardless of being in the Japanese edition) to be a single from The Gods We Can Touch as these sources mention the single as part of Wu's EP. Additionally, it also appears on a deluxe edition of one his albums, with the only release of the song by Aurora being in the Japanese edition (which is only physical). Though some sources say that the artist began working "Storm" during the recording of The Gods We Can Touch, they don't state that the song was written for the album. The other singles are fine for me since there are references that can backup that those were songs for the album, unlike "Storm". If there's no problem, I prefer to delete "Storm" from the singles of the album. GiankM. M (talk) 23:06, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Just saw a recent edit with explanation by @CatchMe that discards what we were trying to backup but, yeah, even though all of them were released as singles, we can't include them since they're not in the standard edition and were in a Japan-only physical edition. GiankM. M (talk) 23:32, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello! Yeah, Template:Infobox album#Template:Singles explicitly says that, although they were from the same era, we should not include these in the infobox. Maybe it can be expanded in the Singles section clarifying that they were present in a Japanese/alternative vinyl edition and were released as singles later globally. - thanks for response. but i want to add deluxe singles, like this Bewitched (Laufey album). can't i edit like this style? Arismauve (talk) 12:49, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- I think it could've been possible if the singles were used to promote a worldwide deluxe edition since, to my understanding, "Goddess" from Bewitched is the lead single of a deluxe that was released worldwide and not in a specific region/country. It's also like in "Despechá", which is also the lead single of a deluxe edition of an album. GiankM. M (talk) 01:07, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- I understood, thanks for response. Then except Storm, The Woman I Am, The Devil Is Human and A Potion for Love are singles, but they are deluxe singles so we can't add in infobox because they are not lead single?
- But I have another question, in here, Domino and Lasherlight are in infobox although they are deluxe edition single. Arismauve (talk) 06:38, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
