Will get to this in the coming days. Disc Wheel (T + C) 13:32, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Background

  • "By July 2006, he had worked through the writer's block and was writing alone in a studio. " - I'd cite this sentence
  • "New batches of songs" --> try to rephrase this, batches just comes off more slangy

Production

  • "He learned a friend, who previously printed his merchandise, meant to go on a surfing trip to Costa Rica." This sentence was confusing to me, if I understood it correctly, maybe change it to : He learned of a friend's plans to go on a surfing trip in Costa Rica and drove to New York, before the two flew to Costa Rica."

Composition

  • "The pop rock track[22] " move the [22] to the semi colon

"2:00 am" - Could be wrong, but capitalize the am

Release

  • "on April 22[34] but was eventually pushed back." push [34] back to the end
  • "It was filmed the following month[55] with director Steven Murashige.[56] " Put 55 with 56
  • "McMahon had spent the preceding year discussing a reissue of the release with his former label, which had no interest in doing it.[63]" change to --> : "label, who did not reciprocate interest."

Touring

  • "Dubbed the Father from the Earth tour," --> no idea how these things work, but does the Tour get Quotations or Italicized or anything special?
Can't remember where I read this (or was told), but it doesn't need any quote marks/italics/etc. Yeepsi (talk) 15:18, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reception

  • Several instances of putting the punctuation inside the " marks. In the previous sections of the article you had been putting the punctuation outside the " marks, I would change this section to match that above. There are several instances of this in this section

@Yeepsi: Again good work, great album. Ping me when you're done. Plans to do People and Things for GA? Ping me when finished. Disc Wheel (T + C) 14:57, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Disc Wheel: Done! I definitely plan to bring P&T to GA (likewise with McMahon's Wilderness solo albums) at some point. Yeepsi (talk) 15:18, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
