The result of the move request was: Moved to The Fearless Four (band) (non-admin closure) — Amakuru (talk) 19:45, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
Fearless Four → The Fearless Four (hip-hop) – I propose that The Fearless Four should be changed to a dab page between the group and the film. See talk page for details. Tevildo (talk) 21:33, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- There are two articles which might reasonably be titled The Fearless Four - the group (currently at Fearless Four) and the film (currently at The Fearless Four (film)). I don't think that either is the primary meaning - until Thursday, The Fearless Four redirected to the group and had eight links from mainspace - four of these links were for the group, but four were for the film. I've changed it so that The Fearless Four redirects to the film and fixed the links, but I'm not sure that this situation is ideal. My proposal is to turn The Fearless Four into a proper DAB page, and rename the group's article accordingly. The "official" name of the group isn't definite - on Discogs.com, their article is at "The Fearless Four", and the photographs of their records on that site have various names for the group, but "The Fearless Four" is the most common (four out of nine) and "Fearless Four" only appears once out of nine, so I believe that "The Fearless Four" (disambiguated) is a better name for the group's article than "Fearless Four". - Support.. but to The Fearless Four (band). I just added a jpg to the film. However not sure whether the dab page should be at Fearless Four with The Fearless Four directing back to the dab without "The". Whichever apart from (band) and (film), also The Fearless Four (books) is now a redirect for the children's books series, which should be listed on the dab page linking to John Hare (conservationist). - Comment The actual disambiguator isn't important - I don't personally know enough about the vocabulary of hip-hop to say what would be best, but Category:American hip hop groups uses "group", "music group", "band" and "hip-hop group", so any of those would probably be OK. The DAB page should probably have "The" - it's only the group that's (sometimes) referred to as "Fearless Four", the film and the books always have "The". Fearless Four could redirect to the dab page rather than the group, though. I think Fearless 4 should redirect to the group rather than the dab page, when we've decided on the name of the group's article. Tevildo (talk) 10:36, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
Oppose. This is a WP:TWODABS situation, where one article include "The" and the other doesn't. Just use hat notes to distinguish them.--Cúchullain t/c 18:23, 19 February 2016 (UTC)- Comment. This is the current situation, but I don't believe that "Fearless Four" on its own is the best name for the group's article. "The Fearless Four" is the most common name used on their records. Tevildo (talk) 09:05, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. Withdrawing my "oppose"; I support the move as both subjects are relatively obscure and neither is the obvious primary topic of "The Fearless Four", which should be a dab page.--Cúchullain t/c 21:21, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

To add to article
[edit]To add to this article (so it can be as encyclopedic as possible): the fact that one or two of this group's members were of Hispanic heritage. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 19:31, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
