Fair use rationale for Image:Schoollogo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Schoollogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Removing bias

[edit]

So in my edits, I deleted a lot of bias and some unnecessary information that doesn't really belong on Wikipedia. I also removed the disputed, POV, and onesource templates because it has been a while since June 2008 and I think the article has changed enough that it no longer has those problems. If you think it does, please by all means add them back, but please also write on this page which sections you think are disputed, nonneutral, etc. Makswel (talk) 01:57, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New, important changes

[edit]

Hello everyone, hope you are enjoying your day. Its August 2010, and I made some very big but relevant and extremely important changes to the Early College at Guilford page, putting it up to our standards. My Edits include:

-Adapting and adding the statement found on the ECG official website and making it the first paragraph on the page. -Adding a 3rd paragraph detailing some of ECG's honors -Adding 4th paragraph guiding people to the Official site, which is pretty important given that this wikipedia article has no connection with the people running ECG -Eliminating meaningless and misleading words and sentences from intro. If you want to see the disappointing state of the article as it was earlier, use the "View History" function at the upper left hand of the article page

I think all of these changes are good, although i must say the rest of the article still requires MAJOR revisions for accurate, up-to-date information. Many aspects of the article reflect times past- for example, I had never heard of a Student Court until I read this page...which is odd...and yet it still figures pretty big into the article. Also, is a history paragraph is need or appropriate for this article? You tell me. Until next time... Thomaszi (talk) 00:51, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
