Merge

[edit]

When service started it was named Tequila Express, but I was reading the articule Tequila train and I noted that "the train ride has become known as the Tequila Train" so we can merge the articules --I Am Nash (talk) 02:35, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, wikipedia articles do not qualify as reliable sources for such naming information. The company itself runs a web server at the domain http://www.tequilaexpress.com.mx/ and the title of that page is "Inicio - :: Tequila Express ::Recorrido Turístico". As can be seen in the photographs there the cars of the railway are labelled "Tequila Express" in large letters. In addition, all of the external links mentiioned in this and in the other article refer to the rail service as "Tequila Express" (with the exception of this external link that first calls it "Tequila Express Train" then later in that article simply uses "Tequila Express", but does not use the term "Tequila Train" at all). Hence, I think that distinct content from the Tequila Train article should be merged into this article and the other article should perhaps be turned into a redirect to this article. I'll leave a note at Talk:Tequila Train and change the merge tags, wait for a bit (perhaps one or two days) and proceed with the merge after that. If someone does object to the choice please leave a note here (ideally please cite several reliable sources that indicate that the service is known as "Tequila Train" instead of "Tequila Express"). Thank you. 69.126.127.193 (talk) 00:31, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So is this a bus or a train? The text says bus, but the infobox says regional rail with rolling stock. The official web site says nothing about the type of transportation. 107.77.204.64 (talk) 01:06, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There are three different tours available. The tour offered by tequliaexpress.com.mx is a bus tour to Casa Sauza. Herradura (herradura.com) offers a train to Amatitán, then bus transfer to the hacienda. Jose Cuervo (mundocuervo.com) offers a tour by train in one direction and bus in the other to their distillery in Tequila. The cars on the Herradura train are now labelled "Tequila Herradura Express" but I found old pictures that showed "Tequila Express" livery. The livery on the Jose Cuervo train is "Jose Cuervo Express".63.246.135.75 (talk) 09:01, 14 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
