Thomas Walmsley

[edit]

Why does someone repeatedly change Thomas Walmsley's surname to Warmsley? His Twitter account and BMI records confirm it to be Walmsley. Tbone556 (talk) 14:39, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The allmusic source has him down as Thomas Warmsley here? Please make sure you provide an edit summary when changing the article. Karst (talk) 14:47, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
AllMusic isn't a reliable reference. His Twitter account and BMI is. Tbone556 (talk) 14:48, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Doing this Google search will perhaps demonstrate what the confusion here is. Both names appears. Orange amps, who endorse him, appear to have him down as Warmsley. Perhaps someone can point the individual to this Talk page so it can be clarified? Karst (talk) 14:56, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
His own Twitter and Facebook pages use "Walmsley". The booklet of my copy of Sun Structures does give his surname as "Warmsley", as do Temples' Facebook page and their VEVO channel on YouTube. Their website and own YT channel don't mention the members' names anywhere. Whichever is the wrong surname is certainly a widespread error. SiBr4 (talk) 15:25, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The above is incorrect. Their Facebook has the name spelt correctly (Walmsley) - none of the other URL's even apper to list the band members. The fact that his media accounts officially registered BMI account correctly have his name as Walmesley is enough methinks!
