album review: A Piece of What You Need
[edit]As an editor at Crawdaddy!, and to comply with COI guidelines, I am not posting the link to this review. However, I would like to recommend it on its merits, and hope that an editor will find the time to examine the review and—if he or she sees fit—post it as an external link, or, if/when an A Piece of What You Need page is created, to the professional reviews section. I appreciate your time. Crawdaddy! (favorable) 2008

In My Arms or In Bruce's Clutches?
[edit]A large number of UK broadcasters have now pointed out the marked melodic similarity between Teddy's 2008 single "In My Arms" and the new Bruce Springsteen single "Working On A Deam". As far as I can see, this opinion has not yet filtered through to any "proper" referencable web-page and no amount of blog citation will satisify WP:RS. Am not sure of the point at which "popular musical POV" starts to resemble grounds for copyright infringement/ plagiarism(?) Martinevans123 (talk) 17:33, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Names
[edit]In this edit, Thompson's alleged first name and alleged birth name were removed with the edit summary "(Removed first name information per request; can't be confirmed in birth registry; name change cannot be located in deed poll indexes)." Um, what request was that? The copyright information on some of his songs suggests that Adam was (or indeed still is) his first name, e.g. Frontlines I have no axe to grind here, I'm just wondering what that request was, how it was made, and if better sources could, or indeed should, be found for both his birth name and his first name. I was surprised to see there was not a List of songs recorded by Teddy Thompson. I redirected the page to here for now, but feel free to get a list going before me if you have time and interest. ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:53, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
