Ficticious references on the summary page

[edit]

"Tasnim has been accused of promoting outrageous propaganda such as a series of articles that COVID-19 is part of "an American and Jewish plot at world domination through population control"

Both references given (below) do not support this sentence. In fact the only reference to this text I can find on the internet is copied entirely from the website of the Anti Defamation League which is an activist organization. Further, that ADL article itself contains, as far as I can tell from the Google translation, another fictitious reference to a Persian language article which does not contain one instance of the terms "covid", "coronavirus", "virus", or "disease". In fact, the article only has one use of the term "Jew" which they use as a descriptive term for "Alfred Kissinger".

The Fetzer stuff was not supported by the Radio Farda source, so that particular statement was unverified junk, but the ADL stuff is true, and the linked stories confirm this, though a better source for such things would of course be preferable to an advocacy organization's blog. It is not fundamentally unverifiable though. Iskandar323 (talk) 18:29, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Anything else?

[edit]

The Iranian news website is notable so, is there anything else relevant of the topic? BangladeshiEditorInSylhet (talk) 14:40, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, we must attempt to ensure NPOV because there might be some users that are trying to edit this page and spread non-neutral information against the Iranian news agency. BangladeshiEditorInSylhet (talk) 14:42, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
