Can you specify if the site value is in HKD or USD? I would assume the former but given HK property prices USD24bn for a 4.2ha site is not impossible!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.180.156.42 (talk) 12:19, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Yeuxhan: Since I'm new to Hong Kong, it takes me quite a long time to find out what "Tamar site" really is. As a result, what I've done here may lack accuracy. Hope you can have a look and make amendments to it.:) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yeuxhan (talk • contribs) 12:11, November 2, 2005 (UTC)
"In order to ensure the buildings behind the site such as the Far East Finance Centre, the Admiralty Centre, Lippo Tower, the United Centre, Pacific Place Offices Towers, the Island Shangri-La and the Conrad Hotel continue to have views of the harbour, the government buildings will only be allowed to be 60-story high."
- Really? From what I've read in the SCMP and Standard it's to maintain the view of the mountains from the other side of the harbour.
- Why the need for the link to Far East Finance Centre?
- "Centre", not "Center" - that's how they spell it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Samgra (talk • contribs) 00:47, November 25, 2005 (UTC)
Layout
[edit]The site looks good, but on my display (1024x768), I get large blocks of white space at the top of some of the sections. Is the solution to list all the photos at the start of the page, and just let them cascade down the right side of the page, or to make some of the section photos on the left hand side? --Mr Minchin 18:01, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
But what is it?
[edit]The article doesn't say whether it's a city, a town, a neighborhood, or the name of a building complex. The article just refers to it as a "site" a few times. That isn't descriptive. Largoplazo (talk) 13:36, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
