19:08, 13 June 2008 (UTC) Merges complete. All highways have shields, but some of the numbers line up funny or are getting cut off - a project for another day. I also haven't decided whether it should be listed under Alberta Highway 100 or Sherwood Park Freeway...

  • However, several sections have been added to the French article, which could (should) be translated and added to the English article

I figured out how to change my signature, so I added a little maple leaf behind my name now. Mr Minchin Canada I guess this is going out of fashion, but I think it's cool.

I should start the following pages in my own space, and then when I have something written, move them over to the main Wikipedia name space

I need to figure out how to add the coordinates to the title bar on various pages, and then go to town with that, too.

I should add Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA)

I discovered the fun of userboxes. Some of them crack me up! Maybe I went a little overboard with them... I'm not sure how to get them to lay out nicely. Suggestions?

I suppose I should put up a little something, so here we go. Hope I can offer something useful.

Just an interesting photo I came across.

Surface waves of water: expansion of a disturbance
Another featured image, but one I found poking about a phsyics navigation template.
Weeki Wachee spring, Florida, by Toni Frissell
Again, a featured image, but it captures an essance that colour can't...and it seems rather haunting.
Suburban housing developments near Markham, Ontario.
This was actually a featured image, but it shows sururbia so well.

ASCII Macarena - this was too funny to pass up!

Colourful Candian Money!
A very interesting graph showing the relationship between petrolum (per capita) usage with urban density.
[edit]

I've played around with Wiki code a little bit, and in the process, created a few of my own Userboxes.

Code Result
{{User:Mr Minchin/Userboxes/User Canadian English}}
This user contributes using Canadian English.
{{User:Mr Minchin/Userboxes/User Pi}}
Pi ≈ 3.1415926535897932384626...
{{User:Mr Minchin/Userboxes/User Love Farmers}}
Love Farmers, They Feed You.
{{User:Mr_Minchin/Userboxes/User_Parrallel_Universe}}
This user feels like he's diagonally parked in a parallel universe.
{{User:Mr Minchin/Userboxes/User Crazy Frog}}
This user thinks that Crazy Frog is annoying.

I must admit that the Pi one is not my own creation...someone (or some bot) must of subst: it onto my page, so I just recreated it as a template. Crazy Frog was another one I found along the way.

The farmers one and the universe one are more bumper stickers than Userboxes, but it's fun to play and learn the wiki.
