[edit]

Hello, I'd like to propose changes based on TESST College's recent acquisition by Education Corporation of America (ECA). The press release relating to the acquisition is cited below. I currently work for ECA and was formerly (before the acquisition) an employee of Kaplan.

INFOBOX

It is more accurate to refer to the school/company type as "for-profit education" rather than "private."

LEAD/INTRO

Replace "It is part of Kaplan Higher Education Corporation (KHE), a division of Kaplan, Inc." with "It is owned and operated by Education Corporation of America."

Also, please change "private technical college" to "private for-profit technical college" for greater accuracy.

HISTORY

As a new paragraph at the end of this section, add:

In September 2015, TESST College of Technology was acquired by Education Corporation of America.[1]

The proposed changes seem sensible enough so I hereby approve them. You may go ahead and update the article with the edits proposed above. Altamel (talk) 20:38, 10 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
