Fair use rationale for Image:TAP cs-tbr.jpg
[edit]Image:TAP cs-tbr.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Translated verion
[edit]I translated the article from the Russian version as that version is a good article. It is still a community draft as it's not ready to become a new page yet. You can help here: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:TAP_Air_Portugal_Flight_425 Tigerdude9 (talk) 14:31, 20 November 2018 (UTC)

TAP Air Portugal Flight 425 → TAP Flight 425 – The "Air Portugal" in the airline's name came in 1979 reading the airline's article:[1]. Prior to 1979, it was always known as Transportes Aéreos Portugueses (TAP) and that's mainly why no sources are calling it "TAP Air Portugal" since it's anachronistic. If this move is unacceptable, then TAP Flight 425 is also applicable. Idmsdmsalescaleneiviq (talk) 04:28, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose but would support TAP Flight 425. The first proposal is too unwieldy, especially for English readers, and is arguably not the most common name for the airline. --Deeday-UK (talk) 09:40, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Deeday-UK: I'm all okay with it being TAP Flight 425 too.
For now however, I'm keeping it to Transportes Aéreos Portugueses Flight 425 since it's more consistent with other portuguese aviation accidents.Idmsdmsalescaleneiviq (talk) 03:46, 26 June 2022 (UTC)
- Changed to TAP Flight 425. Idmsdmsalescaleneiviq (talk) 18:01, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
"It was also noted that there were an insufficient number of lights of the ILS"
[edit]this sentence does not make sense, an ILS does not have lights. I neither found any mentioning of an ILS approach in the final report. 185.143.182.53 (talk) 11:44, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
