Synonomy vs. Synonymy

[edit]

Is this a special meaning, or is that a typo in the title? Thanks, SchreiberBike | ⌨  20:01, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to be an error. Moved to Synonymy in Japanese. Hzh (talk) 20:06, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In Special:PermanentLink/939018334#Native_synonyms, the text is incompatible with the examples that follow it, so I removed the text part. The text itself might contain some truth, but placing it along with those examples is misleading, and it is unsourced anyway. Those three examples have equivalents in other languages: たべる=eat/くう=chow down; はしる=run/かける=dash; はなす=talk/しゃべる=speak. I feel they are just different words with ovelapping meanings but different nuance, not regional dialects. Not much specific to Japan. --Wotheina (talk) 04:05, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
