Fair use rationale for Image:Swiss Post.png
[edit]Image:Swiss Post.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- ALTs 2-5 are interesting, but not well accessible. As a back up there are 5! consecutive! times the best post, which I hope is good enough. Other hook suggestions are welcome.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 23:59, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Overall: An interesting article on an ostensibly dry subject. For the Wyss-sourced material, I've Assumed Good Faith, as the source is a printed source. Some of the translations from the German used in that source may be less than ideal (eg "The first airmail was delivered mainly as a performance ..." ("demonstration" might be a more appropriate translation than "performance")), but I can't copyedit the translations as I don't have the printed source. The longer paragraphs in the article were sufficiently long as to be a bit daunting, so I have copyedited the article to break them up into smaller chunks. I've also made some very minor other amendments. As for the hooks: I think ALT3 is the best. My second favourite is ALT5. I've made minor amendments to both. The others are a bit ho hum. For example, as a non-Swiss who admires Swiss efficiency, I am not in the least surprised by the main hook and ALT1 (and therefore those two are not very interesting), and ALT2 is so cliched as to be similarly not very interesting. - Promoter's commment to @Paradise Chronicle: the dry humour of
the vicinity of wine and post offices led to problems
is just—*chef's kiss*. I tweaked your hook a bit, too. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/they) 10:38, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
