Split proposed

[edit]
  • Oppose. The journal is not independently notabl, so a stand alone article is not warranted. In fact, that's the very reason why this was merged here in August 2018. If it were split off, it would land at AfD within minutes. --Randykitty (talk) 13:43, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Randykitty: I wasn't aware this was already the result of a merge, so apologies. My reasoning was because the infobox auto-italicizes the article's {{PAGENAME}} and since it takes up an awful lot of space in a two-sentence section. I've added an {{expand section}} tag to the section for now, although perhaps it may be better to remove (or hide) the infobox altogether? What's your take? Or at least, that was my intention. But it seems like an edit conflict prevented me from doing so, haha. In any case, I'm not a big fan of moving the infobox up into the Anders Retzius Medal recipients section. It's without context and feels out of place. • (ec)The italic title has been taken care of by Headbomb. I moved the infobox up a bit. As it is, I see no harm in keeping it there. THe society itself could still use an appropriate infobox, I think. --Randykitty (talk) 16:36, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The italic title was taken care of by me ;) Anyhow, I'm not entirely opposed to an infobox for the journal itself, but it'd be a lot better if we could expand prose to accompany it. I might have a go at it myself later. Jay D. Easy (t • c) 16:41, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, Headbomb must have done something similiar at another article and I got confused. I'm not sure that there is much sourced info about the journal, which is why I originally proposed it for deletion when it was a stand alone article. --Randykitty (talk) 18:47, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
