"The song features spoken word snippets by legendary actress LaWanda Page" sounds like RuPaul or someone who speaks like him edited this article.

sashay, shante? chanté? shantay!

I'm unsure what would qualify as a definitive source for the correct spelling of the song lyrics. Until then, I'm updating the spelling in this article to match the title of RuPaul's 1997 short film Shantay. — HipLibrarianship ^talk 21:00, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
