Sun Transit equation

I would like to create a new section that explain some basic equations to calculate an approximation of the Sun transit time for any longitude and latitude. My source will be Paul Schlyter and his equations at:

These equations seem more accurate that the one they use for the Sunrise Equation:

The Schlyter source does not make any mention of meridian transit. It would be preferable to use a source that does, so as to avoid original research. Ibadibam (talk) 02:43, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
