Radical $Uicide made it to number 85 on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart, which is basically the Billboard 200 chart except if catalog albums were excluded. The peak should be listed in the discography.

- Oppose a serious source is not going to follow this showy stylism. In ictu oculi (talk) 22:06, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- Well, would you consider The New York Times a serious source? They haven't covered this group, but did put Ke$ha in headlines back when Kesha was putting a dollar sign in her name. I just think we should try and follow the sources. In many cases, that means nixing the stylization (most movie reviews of Alien 3 did not render the name as ALIEN³ so neither do we, but most sources do say Deadmau5 so we do to. ...Note that not all sources say Deadmau5, incidentally, a few say Deadmaus, but we go with the stylization anyway.) WanderingWanda (talk) 22:19, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- Personally, I would consider The New York Times as a serious source, but if they have not discussed this group, then I would also consider them an irrelevant serious source. —BarrelProof (talk) 22:50, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose this rediculous stylism, we don't follow Ke$ha, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign or Travis $cott, why should we follow $uicideboy$? Lazz_R 22:32, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

- Support – Discussed it on WP:DISCORD, the artists themselves use $uicideboy$ as an artist name, and they are well known with the dollar signs around their names. –apap04 talk | contributions 22:28, 28 September 2019 (UTC)

Add Ghostemane to Associated Acts
[edit]Ghostemane needs to be added to associated acts. He made a song called "Seppuku" with them.
Members's FULL Names
[edit]Ruby Da Cherry's full name is Aristos Norman Petou. $lick's is Scott Anthony Arceneaux, Jr. This should be added, and perhaps individual articles for each of them.
Nicknames
[edit]Petrou and Arceneaux both have many pseudonyms they use, and this article only lists "Ruby Da Cherry" (for Petrou) and "Scrim" (for Arceneaux).
There are also, for Petrou: $uicide Leopard (or $now Leopard), Lord of Loneliness, Yung Plague, SLAMDUNKASAUR, 7th Ward Lord, 7th Ward Dragon, 7th Ward Charizard, James Spleen, Yung Mutt, Lil Uzi, Oddy Nuff,

Side Projects
[edit]It says that $moke a $ack, the first collaboration between Petrou and Arceneaux was on Pluto in 2014. While this is true, the same track was also on $crim's "Patron Saint of Everything Totally Fucked", which came out in 2013. That same mixtape included a song called Barbie Doll which also saw the calibration of both members when they were solo artists. It would probably be more accurate to mention both tracks appearance on Patron Saint of Everything Totally Fucked as that came earlier than Pluto. It would also be appropriate to mention "A Man Rose From The Dead", a recent $crim solo project in 2020.

[edit]Couldn't suicideboys be considered as memphis rap due to them remixing many three 6 mafia and other memphis rap artists? 2600:1700:B2D1:D700:1CDC:42CB:E532:76C1 (talk) 07:18, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

Individual Articles

Insufficent genres
[edit]I have a question. Why are trap metal and punk rap the only two genres cited in the infobox? While they are two prominently featured genres, there are many more that aren't mentioned, viz. cloud rap, emo rap, horrorcore, phonk, and perhaps rage or even other genres. Why don't we add those in or at least substitute them with an umbrella term like 'underground rap' or 'alternative rap'? 76.69.90.7 (talk) 21:31, 13 July 2024 (UTC)
A couple of random comments
[edit]A lot of the biographical detail in this Wikipedia entry seems to come from one source which doesn't really qualify as an encyclopedic "secondary" source: i.e., a podcast from 2015 where the two band members ramble on about their life stories and various other topics for an hour and half. The various facts gleaned from the interview seem plausible enough, and maybe this is the best source that exists, but few if any of those details have been independently verified. I might also add that 2015 was (as of this writing) nine years ago, so the podcast is also now an outdated source.
The New York Times (of all places!) ran an article about the duo on Sunday, July 28, 2024, and someone might want to incorporate the information in that article into the Wikipedia entry.
On an unrelated note, the instrumental tracks on their recordings are derived from mainstream 1980's R&B and generally don't strike me as especially abrasive, although their vocals certainly are often abrasive. But I am just an average (and older) music fan, not really an expert on hip-hop and related genres. I frankly don't know if the term "beat" refers to the record as a whole or just to the instrumental track. Timothy Horrigan (talk) 16:46, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
