The article says "finite-dimensional central simple algebra", but I thought central simple algebras were finite-dimensional by definition... Joel Brennan (talk) 01:17, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's a matter of convention; it is possible that an algebra is central and simple but does not have finite-dimension (e.g., Weyl algebra). -- Taku (talk) 08:07, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
