[edit]It says that he was 5 years at Wheadlestone before being discovered but in his clubs list he was there from 1982-1983. I don't know which is correct so I'm not going to edit the page. Ronank
I've removed that he signed for City "excited by the prospect of playing under the managerial skills of Kevin Keegan and with new players such as Eyal Berkovic". Keegan signed Pearce before Berkovic or anyone else. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/1398512.stm Chorleypie, 21:28 1 October 2006 (BST)
This article is badly written, it is not at all encylopaedic.
I am something of a newbie, but how can I stop this person being confused with a New Zealand musician by the exact same name? I don't have the confidence or knowhow to install the disambigulation page onto this one, and would appreciate someone doing that. I am trying to write a page for the New Zealand musician as he is referenced on several other wiki pages but automatically his name is linking to this one. - You will need to start the NZ page as Stuart Pearce (musician). After that, we can put a hatnote at the top of this article that says something like:
- Not to be confused with the New Zealand musician

Too topical: currently playing for Longford AFC
[edit]Whilst it is fun to say that Pearce is "currently playing for Longford AFC" (a very minor non-league outfit), this snippet really has no place in the lead paragraph. So as soon as this particular mini-nova dies down, please can someone reduce that to a mention in the existing "Amateur football" codicil to the "Playing career" section? Personal Life
[edit]What does his brother being a fascist have anything to do with this personal life? He says in the very source he does not share his brother's views; why isn't this information reflected in the section? All in all it's a very bizarre paragraph, as it goes from the BNP to his rugby allegiance in one sentence. It does not read well. Alexmunger (talk) 12:04, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
