Bill Haley????
[edit]The article says Stray cats were heavily influenced by Bill Haley and the Comets. Strange that most of the interviews I recall tended to mention Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent as being the primary influences. This would also explain the number of cover versions of Cochran and vincent tunes in the early days.
