[edit]According to my reference (French-speaking magazine "Liège Eco"), quoting J.Dehalu from Sofico (the company that finished the boat lift), the global cost was €160 million, with about 2 million from european fund (so absolutely not €625 million). Has smbd some reference about the other estimation ??
