Newmarket and Chesterford Railway
[edit]Since the Newmarket and Chesterford Railway didn't connect directly with the Stour Valley, I'm a bit confused as to why the former needs to be on the route diagram. It makes the route diagram unnecessarily more complicated and I think it should be removed. Rich257 (talk) 10:58, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
History
[edit]Note that "The Marks Tey to Sudbury section of the line opened on 2 July 1849 and ran for five years before being taken over by the Eastern Counties Railway on 7 August 1862" doesn't make sense - did the line open in 1849 or 1857 or was the line taken over in 1854? Which of those dates is incorrect? AsparagusTips (talk) 13:59, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
