Title

[edit]

Should this article be moved to Statue of Philip Sheridan, per the depicted subject's article title? ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:30, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ham II: You might have thoughts. Also, let me know if you'd prefer to have all these move discussions on a centralized page (WikiProject Sculpture?) so you're not on the receiving end of so many pings. I don't mind! ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:30, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Another Believer: General Philip Sheridan is another statue of him – not that you'd ever guess from the article title! So I'd suggest Statue of Philip Sheridan (New York City) for this and Equestrian statue of Philip Sheridan for the one in DC. General Philip Sheridan and General Philip Henry Sheridan should be redirects to Philip Sheridan, if you ask me. And yes, I think one big list for title proposals, somewhere at WikiProject Sculpture, would be a great idea. Ham II (talk) 20:37, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@AgnosticPreachersKid: Curious what you think about this discussion, as the main author of the Good article General Philip Sheridan. Thanks, ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:07, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter to me either way, I just went by the Smithsonian title. The original nomination form actually added his middle initial. APK whisper in my ear 21:16, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
