Recent article move

[edit]

This article was recently moved from "List of Namma Metro stations" to the current "Stations of the Namma Metro" title. This new title is a very non-standard title for an article like this, as nearly all articles on the stations of the various metro systems are in the form of "List of [City Metro] stations" regardless of whether they are just in the form of a list, or contain more content. I strongly suggest that this article should be moved back to its former title... --IJBall (contribstalk) 05:17, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, this article probably contains too much detail now, and should probably be trimmed down. --IJBall (contribstalk) 05:18, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 14 June 2015

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: no consensus. However, since the stable/long-standing title is that which was requested, the no-consensus close results in the page move anyway. —Darkwind (talk) 05:50, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edit: my close does not address the actual content of the article; feel free to address that through normal discussion here. —Darkwind (talk) 05:51, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stations of the Namma MetroList of Namma Metro stations – Without discussion, this article was moved from its original List of Namma Metro stations article title by InfernalH; InfernalH also greatly expanded the content of this article (per WP:COATRACK?) beyond its original intended focus as a simple list article. All of these moves are probably controversial, and probably merit further discussion, especially in regards to whether InfernalH's recent move (and article expansion) was appropriate, which is the purpose of this requested move request. --Relisted. Gap and Step

[edit]

How much is the gap between the edge of the platform and the side of the train at the door?

How much is the difference between the height of the platform (1.09m above rail level) and the height of the floor of the train (above rail level)?

Is the floor higher than the platform, or lower or the same? Tabletop (talk) 07:51, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It is noted that the height of the floor of the train reduces at the wheel wear, and their diameter reduces.

These questions could be asked about all Metros in India and elsewhere. Tabletop (talk) 07:55, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
