Page move

[edit]

I've moved the page from Staple Hill, South Gloucestershire to Staple Hill, Gloucestershire as the ceremonial county rather than unitary authority should be used for place name disambiguation in England. See Wikipedia:Place#England for more details. — Gasheadsteve Talk to me 10:21, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So are you now going to move all the other South Gloucestershire articles? --Simple Bob (talk) 15:51, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ancient parish

[edit]
"...since Staple Hill was part of the ancient parish of Stapleton, Bristol..."

Vision of Britain states that it was part of Mangotsfield parish - [1]
