Sports

[edit]

St. Benedict's sports teams are ridiculously good, especially soccer and basketball so i think its fair to say they have "prestigous teams" anyone else have an opinion on this? Wangster 03:32, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Two problems with that... 1) You need to cite a source to support the statement. 2) Its editorializing. You may want to list athletic accomplishements that have occured, and leave it to the reader to decide whether its "prestigous" Roodog2k 18:46, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please try to remember that the article is not about sports figures and their later accomplishments, but about the school. Readers can link to the article on the sports figure if they are all that interested. Student7 (talk) 01:56, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why the colors were changed, used to be Maroon and Gray.

Maroon and Garnet are the same color. "Maroon and Gray" and "Garnet and Gray" are used interchangeably.--Augustineosb (talk) 14:24, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Graduation year is relevant

[edit]

While the "notables" are probably one of the best-cited of any school I watch, someone inserted birth years, which was quite irrelevant. We care about when the school and the "notable" intersected, not what year the person was born. Birthyear is irrelevant (non-WP:TOPIC) for the school. Graduation year is definitely relevant.
