Language

[edit]

Hi guys! If you see the history, you could see that a language mentioning order dispute has arisen. Before edit-warring I'd like to put out the problem here. In my view, it's better to follow as per the alphabetization. And while the film is produced in two languages, there's no clear information, whether the film's originated from Telugu or Tamil. In case of Baahubali, we know that the film has its origin in Telugu. Luigi Boy ルアイヂ ボイ talk 16:18, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Film title?

[edit]

Initially the film shot as without any title, then to Sambhavami and presently titled as Spyder. The title, Spyder might not be for Tamil language version due to tax rebate for film titles in chaste tamil. Someone might fix this?

@Kolli Monish: We don't make changes unless you bring references. Got any? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 13:14, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please update it's Boxoffice numbers See the original figures at indianmoviestat.com Vamshi4k9 (talk) 02:59, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Vamshi4k9: We don't use random websites as references. We only care what mainstream sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say about anything. This is a basic concept at Wikipedia. Anybody can start a website and print whatever they want. It doesn't mean the data is reliable. Also, since the entirety of Indian film financial figures are estimations, there are no official or "original" figures. It's all guesswork. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:24, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Apart from the clarification templates, it's unclear what you are proposing be changed. The current version of the plot doesn't mention a CCTV company and has changed in a few other ways from the version you have above. If you can be more specific, that'd be appreciated. Not done: Telugu is already properly wikilinked to Telugu language near the top of the article so I have instead dewikified the instance near the bottom of the opening paragraph where it was only linked as [[Telugu]]. —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:31, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Done @Vinitn: In the future it would be appreciated if you'd please be more specific about what you want to see changed, ex: "I've updated the plot, can someone replace the existing plot with the version below?" Otherwise, we have to guess about what you want to be changed, and that just takes time. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:24, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've updated the plot again, sorry, can someone replace the existing plot with the version below?

Shiva (Mahesh Babu), an officer in the Intelligence Bureau office, spies on people who need help. He develops a software to listen to the needing ones by tracking their phone call. On the night of March 16th, he listens to a lady named Charlie (Rakul Preet Singh) talking about her wish on getting 98% in her exams from 96% to get a USA Scholarship with her friend. Shiva goes and follows her and Charlie starts to fall in love but Shiva does not as his main focus is to help people.

On the night of April 28th, he listens to a young girl asking her friend for help as she is alone in her house and scared. Shiva sends his friend and new police constable, Renuka, to help the girl. However the next day, a news channel declares that the two are killed. Shiva goes to the site and finds that its been a brutal murder. To know who murdered them, he sets out to 'spy' the girl's chats and whereabouts.

He finds that a guy followed her at a cafe. He then learns the past about the guy, Bhairavudu (S.J Surya), that he has an anxiety to kill people and see the victims' family crying. He left the village to continue his anxiety with his younger brother. Shiva manages to catch him but instead he reveals to be Bhairavudu's younger brother (Bharath). Bhairavudu reveals that he killed 23 people and hid their bodies in 23 pillars of a bridge and threatens the whole citizens to leave his brother free. Shiva though kills Bhairavudu's brother in front of the 23 people's families, including an angry Bhairavudu.

First, Bhairavudu plans to kill Shiva's family however Shiva manages to save them through his workmates. Then, Bhairavudu tries to kill Shiva on his way home, which Shiva gets stabbed through his body from a rod on a truck. He slowly gets recovered and gets back on getting Bhairavudu. Because Shiva had shot him before he fell unconscious, he thinks Bhairavudu has hidden himself in a house. With the help of the local ladies, Shiva finds, catches and arrests Bhairavudu, but Bhairavudu tells him that he had already planned a big rock fall in the city. Shiva manages to stop the big rock, which crushed many cars in the city however saves the people. Bhairavudu escapes from the police quarters and plans to destroy a hospital. Shiva reaches there while the building collapses and saves as many as he can but couldn't save some patients. Lastly, Shiva finally kills Bhairavudu and tells media about humanity and how we can be better. Vinitn (talk) 19:36, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
