[edit]10/23/15 Yes, indeed, this article needs to be rewritten. It is barely intelligible. Moreover, it appears to be part of the PLA project to rewrite the history of WWII to place the Soviet Union in a more favorable light. In particular, the claim that the Japanese were worried about a Soviet invasion of their home islands and that was a contributing factor to their surrender is laughable. The Soviet Union did not have a naval capability to undertake an amphibious invasion of the Japanese home islands, which were defended by 3.5 million Japanese troops.
Wikipedia needs to be concerned about becoming a propaganda venue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.3.44.12 (talk) 14:29, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
