Dispute

[edit]

The article contains a lot of unlikely information, which is difficult to verify. It needs additional references for its verification. The reference section need to be improved. Aditya(talkcontribs) 17:05, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Which information is unlikely and cannot be verified? Unless there is a contrary opinion against a specific information on the article, there is no dispute. Arman (Talk) 01:51, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The article is (undoubtedly) informative. But the style, in my opinion, is not suitable for an encyclopedia article. Wikipedia is not meant to be a copy of the entire website of an institution. --Sabih 16:56, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit-warring

[edit]

LEOrsha has been edit warring with APK, Darth Stabro, and myself to insert into the lead the following paragraph with a favorable tone (and without any source):

Southern University Bangladesh is committed to academic excellence. Southern University ensured the facilities such as suitable environment, library, lab facilities, engaging in extra curricular activities and sports competitions. The teachers and students are engaging in research. The university has a permanent campus in Arefin nogor, bayezid link road, Chattogram.

LEOrsha has also removed reliably sourced text critical of the university, in violation of Wikiepdia's neutral point of view policy. Reliable news coverage from September 2024 (the most recent I found)[1] describes numerous problems with their (temporarily suspended) vice chancellor, suggesting all is not as well as LEOrsha paints it.

@LEOrsha: Can you identify any independent and reliable source to support the claims you want to add? --Worldbruce (talk) 01:31, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
