The south fork of Garnet Canyon doesn't have much of a trail, unlike the much more traveled north fork which leads to the saddle between the Grand and Middle Teton. Even into July you will spend a great deal of time climbing on snow while ascending to the Middle-South Teton Saddle. Late in the season, (mid-July and later..) there may be a rudimentary trail worn by the passage of feet that season, sometimes marked by informal, and often unreliable cairns.Tdsharkey 04:47, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
