Early life and background[edit]

I do not understand how the family has became citizen of United Stated? How it was possible 1987 to work as a nurse without legal papers? If Sofia Kenin has been born in the USA it could be easier. So who could explain me?

Junior career[edit]

2013–17: US Open debut, three ITF titles[edit]

2018: Top 50, first top 10 victory[edit]

2019: Maiden WTA titles in singles and doubles[edit]

National representation[edit]

Playing style[edit]

  • Wikilink forehand, backhand and drop shot to their repsective articles for non-Tennis readers
  • "She can disguise whether her backhand is going cross court or down the line very well." - choose a more formal alternative word than the one highlighted in bold
  • "Kvitová also remarked Kenin plays very aggressively," - how about also noted Kenin's aggressive playing style,
    • Changed to "Kvitová also remarked that Kenin plays very aggressively"
  • "a trait Kenin's father said she developed in 2017 in her first full year on the pro tour." - better: in her first full season on the professional tour in 2017.
    • Changed to "in 2017, her first full season on the professional tour in 2017."
