Fair use rationale for Image:Antorcha.gif
[edit]Image:Antorcha.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Socialist Party – Broad Front of Ecuador → Ecuadorian Socialist Party – This is the party's current official name. Charles Essie (talk) 16:23, 6 December 2019 (UTC)—Relisted. – Ammarpad (talk) 07:38, 14 December 2019 (UTC) —Relisting. BD2412 T 04:09, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- Support move. Both more official and more concise, though I'm not sure what the common name is. O.N.R. (talk) 09:14, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose for now given the lack of evidence of the common name and that the target redirects to a different article, PAIS Alliance. Without having that straightened out I am uncomfortable with this move. Dekimasuよ! 07:01, 26 December 2019 (UTC)
- Look at its Facebook and Twitter pages. By the way, I have no idea why Ecuadorian Socialist Party redirects to PAIS Alliance. It makes absolutely no sense at all. Charles Essie (talk) 17:12, 26 December 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry if I wasn't clear. I am interested in the WP:COMMONNAME used to refer to the topic in English in reliable, independent sources. I don't see an English name on the Twitter page, and it's not independent (or verified, or active). Dekimasuよ! 06:48, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
- I don't see too many sources using this name either so we might as well go with the official name. Charles Essie (talk) 21:48, 1 January 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per Dekimasu. No evidence presented that the proposed name is used by anyone, let alone the common name. If anything, the only name in town is the Spanish name "Partido Socialista Ecuatoriano" (as in the Twitter link above) so if there's nothing else available and the current name is inaccurate perhaps we should use that? — Amakuru (talk) 18:13, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- I suppose so. I still think it should be "Ecuadorian Socialist Party" but I'm okay with this. Charles Essie (talk) 17:45, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
- I am also fine with Partido Socialista Ecuatoriano (right now that also redirects to PAIS Alliance). Dekimasuよ! 01:19, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
- Support. English translation of es:Partido Socialista Ecuatoriano. That article is well developed, and source, this one is a stub. Defer to the native language article. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 13:15, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
- The Spanish (native language) Wikipedia article contains many references that support the proposed title. For example, https://www.elcomercio.com/actualidad/cnetransitorio-directiva-partidosocialista-elecciones-seccionales.html. "Ecuadorian Socialist Party" is the direct translation, and only reasonable translation, of the COMMONNAME = official name of "Partido Socialista Ecuatoriano". --SmokeyJoe (talk) 00:53, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per Demimasu, given that the proposed target is already occupied by a redirect to a different article, which nom didn't clarify the disposition of. Dicklyon (talk) 00:02, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
- The redirect should be replaced. The current target, PAIS Alliance, includes:
Note the piping of this article to "Ecuadorian Socialist Party". The redirect was reasonable, the "Ecuadorian Socialist Party" being integral in the PAIS Alliance, but "Ecuadorian Socialist Party" is THIS page. This page desperately needs to be improved using translation from es:Partido Socialista Ecuatoriano. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 00:53, 21 January 2020 (UTC)"The current configuration of this movement is given with the participation of the Ecuadorian Socialist Party, humanist movements and social bases."
- The redirect should be replaced. The current target, PAIS Alliance, includes:
