The material in Czédli and Schmidt (2012) on slim semimodular lattices has a strong visual resemblance to a paper I published in 2006 (with journal version in 2008) on certain planar antimatroids: Eppstein, David (2008), "Upright-quad drawing of st-planar learning spaces", Journal of Graph Algorithms and Applications, 12 (1): 51–72, arXiv:cs/0607094, doi:10.7155/jgaa.00159, MR 2392934
