New Chapters section

I added a new section listing the chapters and their status, mostly using information from Baird's, and adding the new North Carolina chapter from Sigma Phi's website. Jax MN (talk) 16:03, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Notables

I am removing the following from Notables until sources link the person to the fraternity or proof of notability can be found:

  • Elias Peissner – professor of German and Political Economy at Union College, died "at the head of his men" at the Battle of Chancellorsville during the Civil War (in Sigma Phi catalog but not notable)
  • Ezra Cornell IV – Life Trustee, Cornell University, great-great-great grandson of University founder
  • Robert S. Harrison – retired partner at Goldman Sachs, CEO of the Clinton Global Initiatives

Greek Letter Men of New York 1899

Page 98 of this book (lwsCAAAAYAAJ on google books) has a list of distinguished members that needs to be added. If someone else doesn't get to it before I do, I'll do it as I can. Most of the people on the list are wikipedia worthy, so even if they don't have articles now, they should.Naraht (talk) 21:26, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
