@عبدالرحمن4132: I question whether we really know enough about the events of 711 to talk of a siege of Córdoba in detail. I think at the very least this page needs to make clear the primary sources on which this account is based. Srnec (talk) 02:17, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Srnec, the earliest source i could find about the details regarding the siege was the book Akhbār majmūʿa by an anonymous author. Another work that mentions its details is Al-Bayan al-Mughrib and Nafh at-Tib by Ahmad al-Maqqari. عبدالرحمن4132 (talk) 11:38, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
