Reference

[edit]

It would be nice if like on the Tieguanyin page the reference was justified, its provides no factual information on what is used in the article and seems to just generally sell the tea, thanks. --Iateasquirrel 22:43, 29 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Mistakes

[edit]

There are some mistakes in the article. For instance, there are two traditional origins of Shui Xien, corresponding to two different oolong teas:

These different teas corresponds to very different cultivar, different type of farming (dancongs traditionally come from very old arborescent unique plant per tea batch when yancha comes from regular tea plantation) and different fabrication philosophies (in particular in term of roasting).

Lao Cong Shui Xien generally reports to dancong, not yancha. Lao Cong only means old tree. Lao Cong dancong generally have more than one human life. This will be corrected ASAP Soiwatter 7:20, 02 February 2010 (UTC)
